Each year on the Thursday before Halloween, the Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce and Maynard’s downtown businesses host a downtown trick-or-treat event. Residents from Maynard and surrounding communities get decked out in Halloween costumes and head down to fill up their bags with treats provided by the local businesses.
